Visalus touts itself as the number one weight loss challenge in America. It markets its products with “kits” that contain various Visalus products. It then charges retail commissions for each kit sold. Depending on the kit, consumers can lose anywhere from nine to twenty pounds in a matter of months. As with any new program, there are a number of potential scams lurking in Visalus’s product line.
A Visalus review won’t dwell on Blair’s background. The reason is that his past isn’t particularly relevant. The Visalus compensation plan offers residual commissions on sales of the company’s products and services. It has a multilevel compensation plan that includes bonuses and incentives. The only catch is that the company only pays its associates after they have sold seventy percent of its products.
Visalus launched in March 2005 and is based in California. The company was founded by Nick Sarnicola and Blake Mallen, and Ryan Blair joined the company shortly after its launch. In 1997, the two founders established a limited liability corporation in Troy, Michigan, called ViSalus Sciences. They began as distributors of the Free Network, a network of old services. The Free Network was liquidated in 2005 and their founders refocused their energies and efforts there.
